Alexander Minasyan: Parliament should take control of TV air quality

For a long time no one has worked towards promotion of national thinking in television, political scientist, founder of Monte Melkonyan Military Academy, Alexander Minasyan told a news conference in Yerevan.

According to him, Armenian TV companies only think about increasing their profits; there is no censorship, no professionals, quality is disregarded.

Armenian government should strictly control TV air, and even limit some freedoms if necessary, he stressed.

“What we need today is not freedom but control. The National Assembly should take control of TV air quality,” Minasyan concluded.
