Adebayor may become highest earner in Tottenham’s history

Emmanuel Adebayor is close to sealing a £6million permanent move to Tottenham, with a contract that would make him the best paid player in the club's history, Daily Mail reported.

It is believed he will sign a three-year deal worth in the region of £115,000-per-week - plus a £4m signing-on bonus.

Edin Dzeko may follow Adebayor out of Manchester City with AC Milan interested in the striker.

Spurs have also firmed up their interest in Nottingham Forest's £5m-rated defender Jamaal Lascelles.
