Chorrord Inknishkhanutyun: Yerkir Media TV not to be shut down

Rumors have been circulating lately that Yerkir Media TV is in tough financial condition and therefore may soon be shut down, Chorrord Inknishkhanutyun writes.

The paper contacted director of Yerkir Media news programs Gegham Manukyan and asked him to comment on the rumors.

“No, it is not true. We just had a problem with satellite broadcasting. Maybe that provoked the shutdown rumors. Our satellite broadcasting will resume the day after tomorrow,” he is quoted as saying.
