Haykakan Zhamanak: Palach not approved as candidate for mayor of Abovyan

PAP leader Gagik Tsarukyan’s godfather, Republican Arthur Harutyunyan, dubbed Palach, has not been approved by Serzh Sargsyan as a candidate for mayor of Abovyan town, Haykakan Zhamanak reports. His friends say RPA let him down and do not rule out the possibility that Harutyunyan will leave RPA and will independently run against Tsarukyan and his son-in-law, current mayor of Abovyan Karo Guloyan, the paper writes.
