Haykakan Zhamanak: Tamamyan may be pardoned

Former Head of the Central Department of Criminal Investigation of RA Police Hovhannes Tamamyan, who was sentenced to four years in prison for abuse of office, may be pardoned, Haykakan Zhamanak writes. It is supposed that the former official will be pardoned by President Serzh Sargsyan, the paper says. Tamamyan’s lawyer Vaghinak Gevorgyan told the paper that he is not authorized to answer a question about a petition for pardon.
