Hraparak: Parliament provides housing in Yerevan for regional MPs

“It appears that our National Assembly keeps good Soviet-era traditions: it provides housing for MPs who have moved to Yerevan from regions and have no means of living. NA gives them a leased apartment with average monthly rent of $120,” Hraparak reports.

So far, MPs Edmon Marukyan, Ishkhan Khachatryan and Khachik Harutyunyan have submitted applications for apartments and have rented apartments not in the center of Yerevan but in the vicinities of Leningradyan Street, the paper says.
