Working 6 days a week harms health, say experts

Overworking can cause damage to health, psychologist Samvel Khudoyan told reporters. A person who works without rest may not already feel fatigued. Overwork can lead to asthenia when a person falls into depression or becomes aggressive, he said. The psychologist recommended that working people should have rest 2 days a week and at least 20 days a year.

Cardiologist Liana Tumasyan agreed that rest is important to organism. A person should rest from work at least 1-2 weeks, according to her. She advised people to be physically active on rest days, to walk a lot, not to overdo sunbathing and not to eat fatty foods in summer.
