Aravot: Building slabs collapse

Aravot writes about a residential building which was built for Yerevan State University lecturers and was put into operation one and a half years ago. Building’s residents told the paper that top floor slabs collapse. They worry for their safety saying that slabs fall towards the yard where children play. According to the paper “residents say that the top floor slabs were not reinforced properly because the top floors were built in a hurry, with builders having done everything possible to meet the deadline.”
