Armenian chess players succeeded in the fifth round of World Junior Championships.

Samvel Ter-Sahakyan, Karen H. Grigoryan and Vahe Baghdasaryan beat Wei Yi, Oliver Mihok and Anton Podolsky respectively.

Samvel Ter-Sahakyan shares 1-3 places with Yu Yangyi and Alexander Ipatov with 4.5 points.

Karen H. Grigoryan is in ninth place with 4 points and Vahe Baghdasaryan is 50th with 3 points.

Losing to Lisa Schut, Shushanna Sargsyan is 35th with 2 points.
