Zhoghovurd: Former mayor of Abovyan to run for mayor’s post

Former mayor of Abovyan, non-partisan Karo Israyelyan will run for mayor’s post in Abovyan, Zhoghovurd daily writes. He met with Serzh Sargsyan and got his approval on Monday, the paper says.

The daily reminds that Karo Guloyan, current mayor of Abovyan, son-in-law of PAP leader Gagik Tsarukyan, runs for reelection. However, it is rumored that not only the President but also Tsarukyan is dissatisfied with Guloyan’s performance as mayor.
