Armenian women’s team finishes 5th in World Chess Olympiad

Armenian women’s national chess team beat Poland 2.5-1.5 in the last round of the 40th World Chess Olympiad in Istanbul.

Armenian team finished 5th with 16 points. Romanian team took 6th place with 16 points.

Russia became Olympic champion with 19 points. Chinese team finished second with 19 points. Ukraine took third place with 18 points.
