Raffi Hovannisian resigns as MP

Founder and leader of Heritage party, Raffi Hovannisian, has submitted his resignation from parliament to the Speaker of Armenia’s National Assembly, Hovik Abrahamyan, said the NA Speaker, adding that Mr Hovannisian has 15 days to withdraw his resignation.

His resignation will be accepted unless he withdraws it, Hovik Abrahamyan announced at a parliament session.
