Vartan Oskanian to appear in National Security Service today

According to summons for charge and interrogation issued on October 6, Vartan Oskanian will appear in Armenia’s National Security Service at 12:00 today, Oskanian’s office reported.

On September 27, Armenian Prosecutor General, Aghvan Hovsepyan, presented a petition to parliament to involve MP Vartan Oskanian as a defendant in the money laundering proceedings against the Civilitas Foundation.

The petition was approved by the Armenian National Assembly on October 2 by the vote of 64 to 6. A total of 71 MPs participated in the voting. One ballot paper was invalidated.
