168 Zham: Armenian Ombudsman sees political element in Vartan Oskanian’s case

Commenting on the criminal case filed against Vartan Oskanian, Armenian Ombudsman Karen Andreasyan told 168 Zham daily that he sees a political element in the case.

“To say that this is purely a legal process – to speak frankly, as an individual and a specialist, I don’t believe it. Though stripping of immunity is regarded as part of a legal process, it always contains a political element,” the Ombudsman was quoted as saying by 168 Zham.
