Buffon misses Italy training

Juventus’ Gigi Buffon is still a doubt for Italy’s World Cup qualifier against Denmark on Tuesday evening.

According to Football Italia, the goalkeeper is suffering with a minor thigh strain and he didn’t take part in training with the rest of the
squad today.

Buffon admitted at that weekend that he would need 48-72 hours to fully recover from the muscle fatigue.

Napoli custodian Morgan De Sanctis is on stand-by to replace the Azzurri captain in tomorrow’s San Siro clash.
