Haykakan Zhamanak: Suspicious cases of anthrax in Armenia

Haykakan Zhamanak has revealed that some 10 people have caught anthrax in Vardenis district of Armenia’s Gegharkunik region. They are now in Martuni Medical Center. Speaking to Haykakan Zhamanak, Vardan Karapetyan, acting director of the Medical Center, noted that the diagnosis has not yet been confirmed, and only the results of laboratory research will make it possible to determine the disease.
