Krikor Sevag Mekhitarian finishes 8th at American Championship

Armenian GM Krikor Sevag Mekhitarian (Brazil), scoring 8 points out of 11, finished 8th at American Continental Championship in Mar del Plata, Argentina.

GM Julio Granda Zuniga (Peru) won champion’s title with 8.5 points, Armenian Chess Federation website reported.
