Zhoghovurd: Vazgen Khachikyan refuses to testify

Vazgen Khachikyan, former head of Social Security Service, refuses to testify. He told the investigators that if he decides to testify, he will reveal the names of all those who are involved in the case, otherwise he will keep silent, Zhoghovurd reports.

Khachikyan’s lawyer, however, refuted this information. “He has the right to refuse to testify.”

The paper reminds that Khachikyan is charged with misuse and embezzlement of major sums, fraud and abuse of office.
