GMs Robert Hovhannisyan and Vladimir Akopian have scored 5 points each after 6 rounds at Chigorin Memorial in St. Petersburg, Russia. They are half a point behind the leaders - GM Aleksandr Shimanov, IM Anton Demchenko (Russia), GMs Ilia Smirin (Israel), Alexander Areshchenko (Ukraine).

GMs Avetik Grigoryan, Sergey Grigoriants, IM Gor Airapetian have scored 4.5 points each, Armenian Chess Federation website said.
