Zhoghovurd: Star supermarket network put up for sale amid debt problems

Gevorg Afandyan, owner of Star supermarket chain, has put the Star supermarkets up for sale amid debt problems, Zhoghovurd reports, citing reliable sources.

Arsen Manasyan, head of company’s marketing and advertising department, when asked how much the company owes in debt, said, “There is nothing of the kind. We work with suppliers by a special program. It is an absurdity, market-level rumors.”

The paper’s sources, however, claim that the company’s debt is big.
