Zhoghovurd: FC Pyunik doctor says he was not beaten up

Zhoghovurd daily dwelt on the rumor that FC Pyunik doctor Vardan Hovasapyan was beaten up by president of the Football Federation of Armenia Ruben Hayrapetyan.

Speaking to Zhoghovurd, Vardan Hovasapyan noted that he was indeed fired “because we had drunk a little alcohol.”

Regarding the rumors that he was beaten up by Ruben Hayrapetyan, he said, “Hayrapetyan met us, talked to us and saw us off, nothing else happened.”

Asked why he refuses to contact anyone, Hovasapyan said, “I am depressed now because I have lost my job, and I loved the system where I worked.”
