Fars: Iranian Embassy in Baku responds to Azeri MP’s allegations

The Iranian Embassy in Baku has responded to the allegations by an Azeri MP, Iran’s semi-official news agency Fars reported.

In response to accusations by member of the security and defense committee of Azerbaijan’s Milli Majlis, Zahid Oruj, that Iran supports terrorists, spokesman for the Iranian Embassy, Seyed Mohammad Ayatollahi, said, in part: “Fight against terrorism is among the priorities of Iran’s foreign policy. Iran itself is a victim of terrorism. Many Iranian senior officials and scientists have become victims of terrorism.”
