Haykakan Zhamanak: Carrefour’s entrance to Armenia issue of principle

Commenting on the Twitter note of U.S. Ambassador to Armenia John Heffern about the necessity of opening Carrefour hypermarket in Armenia, Haykakan Zhamanak daily says, “It is naïve to think that the Ambassador has any personal interest or that he remembers Carrefour whenever he has free time. Carrefour’s entrance to Armenia has really become an issue of principle in respect of fighting monopolies in Armenia.”
