Zhoghovurd: Non-partisan candidate to top PAP election list?

Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) will hold a political council meeting today, March 5, to discuss the party list for the upcoming elections of Yerevan Council of Elders, Zhoghovurd says. The paper’s sources say PAP wants its number one candidate to be someone who will be both acceptable to Yerevan residents and wealthy. It is not ruled out that he will be non-partisan, his participation will be formal, and that he will withdraw after the elections.
