Zhamanak: UNESCO Director-General’s visit to Armenia postponed

By decision of Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan, UNESCO Director-General Irina Bokova was to arrive in Yerevan on March 31. The UNESCO delegation was to stay in Armenia until April 3.

Armenian Foreign Ministry spokesman Tigran Balayan told Zhamanak on Friday that there has been no official report on the visit and therefore he can say nothing about the visit agenda or whether or not the visit will take place. According to the paper, the visit has been postponed indefinitely.
