Zhamanak: Police, NSS not to be merged yet

Armenian Police and National Security Service (NSS) will not be merged yet, Zhamanak daily says. These two bodies will continue to operate separately under the new government that will be formed after the inauguration of Serzh Sargsyan on April 9. Vladimir Gasparyan will remain as police chief and Gorik Hakobyan will be reappointed to the position of NSS chief.

It is not ruled out that these two bodies will be reorganized into ministries, the paper says.
