Andranik Matikozian wins silver in Los Angeles

IM Andranik Matikozian (Armenia) scored 6 points out of 10 to take the second prize at the 25th Metropolitan Chess FIDE Invitational in Los Angeles. 

Matikozian was only half a point behind the winner, IM Zhanibek Amanov (Kazakhstan).

IM Norik Kalantarian (Armenia) and FM Harutyun Akopyan (U.S.) scored 4.5 points each, armchess.am reported.
