Zhamanak: Ukrainian President refused to attend Abovyan events

Zhamanak daily writes that Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych had been invited to attend the consecration ceremony of Surb Hovhannes Church of Abovyan and the opening of the Pharaoh Casino – both constructed with the funds of leader of Prosperous Armenia Party Gagik Tsarukyan. But he refused to attend that epochal event, the paper says. 

According to the paper’s information, Yanukovych is planning to visit Armenia this year on the 25th anniversary of the Spitak earthquake.
