Increase in gas price is beneficial to Armenian government, says Andrias Ghukasyan

Everyone has forgotten the time when gas was imported from Turkmenistan and there was no problem with gas and energy carriers, former presidential candidate Andrias Ghukasyan told reporters on Monday.

The gas price increase is not linked with Russia, according to Ghukasyan.

“First of all, the increase in gas price is beneficial to the Armenian government as the taxes will increase as a consequence of it,” he said.

This policy is aimed against the state and the people, Ghukasyan concluded.
