Armenian government not to sell Vorotan HPP to subsidize gas price

Armenian government is not planning to sell Vorotan hydropower plant to subsidize the gas price, Armenian Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Armen Movsisyan told today’s press briefing. 

“No such issue has been discussed. The negotiations and discussions with Russia are underway and when they are over, we will see how to solve these problems and how to subsidize the gas price,” said the Minister.
