Zhoghovurd: ANC paid dearly for criticism of authorities

Armenian National Congress (ANC) MPs paid dearly for their critical speeches during the presentation of the government program in parliament, Zhoghovurd daily says. 

According to the paper, Armenian parliament speaker Hovik Abrahamyan decided to punish ANC MPs by leaving them out of international parliamentary delegations and groups.

“Although ANC is the largest opposition faction, its representatives rarely travel on business. Instead, several MPs from the Republican Party of Armenia are involved in the parliamentary delegations,” the paper writes.
