Aviation official: There can be no question of Armavia’s return

There can be no question of Armavia’s return, Head of General Department of Civil Aviation of Armenia Artyom Movsesyan told today’s news conference.

Armavia had about 40 percent share in the market, and this figure reduced to 15 percent in the past 2-3 years. So, Armavia’s leaving the market has not caused any shocks, according to Movsesyan.

The aviation official added that there are air companies in Armenia which have experience and good management and can participate in the tender.

“I am convinced that they can provide better services to citizens,” he concluded.
