15-year-old David Paravyan has scored 3,5 points out of 4 at the 2nd Grand Europe Open that is being held in the Golden Sands Resort, Bulgaria. He is half a point behind the leaders – GMs Zbynek Hracek (Czhech Republic), Vladislav Nevednichy (Romania) and Tamir Nabaty (Israel).

GMs Avetik Grigoryan, Tigran L. Petrosian have 3, GM Krikor Sevag Mekhitarian, IM Valentin Panbukchian - 2 points each, the Armenian Chess Federation reports.
