Hraparak: Vanadzor Mayor has not resigned

Rumors were circulating in parliament yesterday that Vanadzor Mayor Samvel Darbinyan has resigned. He was not answering phone calls, Hraparak daily reports.  

“It was found out that he had left for Artsakh at the invitation of NKR Deputy Prime Minister Arthur Aghabekyan to attend Martakert Day celebrations as Lori and Martakert are sister regions,” the paper says.

The information about Darbinyan’s resignation is untrue, the paper adds.
