Zhamanak: Former Syunik governor not to become MP

Former Syunik governor Suren Khachatryan will not be a candidate for Member of Parliament in electoral district #38 in Goris, from where Republican MP Vahe Hakobyan, by presidential decision, will be appointed Syunik governor, Zhamanak reports. 

“According to some information, however, Serzh Sargsyan for the present has no intention of assigning Khachatryan to any position or bringing him to parliament as an MP elected from Syunik’s electoral districts #37 or #38,” the paper says.
