168 Hours: Armenian citizens flying abroad from Tbilisi airport to be denied Schengen visa

Armenian citizens recently prefer to fly abroad from Tbilisi airport since air tickets in Georgia are cheaper compared to those in Armenia, 168 Hours reports. 

“Our authorities have found a way to fight this phenomenon. Instead of taking measures to reduce prices for air tickets, the government found an easier way –asked EU countries’ embassies in Armenia not to grant visas to those Armenian citizens who introduce air tickets of flights taking off from Tbilisi airport,” the paper says.
