Haykakan Zhamanak: Pigs die in large numbers in Lori province

Pigs die in large numbers in a number of villages of Armenia’s Lori province, Haykakan Zhamanak reports.  

The latest case occurred in the village of Odzun, according to the paper. 50 pigs died there about 15 days ago. However, official reports differ from the information obtained by the paper’s correspondent. The State Service for Food Safety reports 72 cases of pig deaths, while Haykakan Zhamanak’s correspondent found out that the number of deaths amounts to 112.
