Armenian chess players in Los Angeles

GM Melikset Khachiyan (U.S.) scored 5.5 points out of 9 and took the third prize at the 28th round-robin Metropolitan tournament in Los Angeles. Khachiyan was only half a point behind the winner, GM Elshan Moradiabadi (Iran). 

IM Andranik Matikozyan (Armenia) scored 3.5 points, armchess.am said.
