Haykakan Zhamanak: Hotel belonging to Flour Mill Lyovik to be exempted from VAT for another 3 years

During its next meeting, the Armenian government will take a decision to exempt Aghtamar Hotel Complex belonging to Levon Sargsyan (Flour Mill Lyovik) from VAT for another 3 years, Haykakan Zhamanak says. 

According to the paper, it is the third time the hotel receives tax privilege. It is written in official records that Aghtamar boosts tourism, creates jobs, etc. But the fact is that this 50-room hotel has been operating for 3 years now and pays so little in taxes that even does not enter the list of 1000 taxpayers.
