Zhamanak: Former PM Armen Sargsyan may be appointed Ambassador to UK

Rumors circulate almost every year that Armenia’s former Prime Minister Armen Sargsyan will be appointed Ambassador of Armenia to UK. According to Zhamanak daily, the rumors are circulating again and maybe this time it will come true. 

Armen Sargsyan was Ambassador of Armenia to UK in 1992-1993, and was reappointed to that post in 2000. He was the Prime Minister of Armenia in 1996-1997. It is not ruled out that he will be appointed Ambassador to UK for the third time, the paper says.
