Aronian ties game with Mamedyarov at Chess Masters Final

Armenian grandmaster Levon Aronian tied a game with Azerbaijan’s Shakhriyar Mamedyarov in the 2nd round of 6th Grand Slam tournament (Chess Masters Final) in Bilbao, Spain. Michael Adams beat Maxime Vachier-Lagrave. Adams is currently in the lead with 4 points. Mamedyarov and Aronian have 2 points each, Vachier-Lagrave has 1 point. 

In the next round, Aronian will play with white pieces against Adams, Vachier-Lagrave will play against Mamedyarov.
