Hraparak: Yerevan Prosecutor says he did not want to be Prosecutor General

Armenia’s prosecutors are in anticipation of resignation proposals, with rumors circulating that “if Gevorg Kostanyan has an opportunity, he will change 80% of the Prosecutor’s Office employees,” Hraparak reports.

According to the paper, especially anxious are those whose names have been mentioned as candidates for Prosecutor General.

“Yerevan Prosecutor Hrach Badalyan reportedly says everywhere that he did not want to be Prosecutor General, and that he does not even know who mentioned his name, hoping that his words will reach Kostanyan,” the paper says.
