Armenian Grandmasters at Chigorin Memorial

GMs Vladimir Akopian and Robert Hovhannisyan scored 6.5 points out of 9 and took accordingly 12th and 21st places among 231 participants at Chigorin Memorial held in Saint Petersburg. 

They were half a point behind the winner, GM Pavel Eljanov (Ukraine). Ten other Grandmasters also scored 7 points each, but were behind the winner on tiebreak.

GMs Zaven Andriasian and Artur Gabrielian had 6 points each, armchess.am reported.
