Armenian civilian wounded by Azeri sniper fire

On October 12, Azeri forces opened sniper fire at farmers doing field work as well as at an UAZ car near the border village of Nerkin Karmiraghbyur in Tavush province of Armenia, Armenian Defense Ministry spokesman Artsrun Hovhannisyan told Panorama.am.

As a result, resident of the village of Navur Hayk Kosakyan, 30, received a chest wound, according to Hovhannisyan.

“Kosakyan was transported to hospital in Berd. He is in moderately grave condition,” the spokesman added.
