Hraparak: Kotayk governor to retire

Governor of Armenia’s Kotayk province Kovalenko Shahgaldyan will retire by the end of the year. According to Hraparak newspaper, he will retire on pension. He wishes to hand down the post to his son, Charentsavan Mayor Hakob Shahgaldyan.

However, former Armenian Deputy Police Chief Alexander Afyan is the most likely candidate for Kotayk governor, the newspaper notes.
