Zhoghovurd: NSS chief flown to Germany after health deteriorates

The health of Director of Armenia’s National Security Service (NSS) Gorik Hakobyan deteriorated sharply yesterday, Zhoghovurd newspaper says. He was urgently flown to Germany. 

The newspaper notes that rumors were circulating yesterday that Hakobyan’s condition is so serious that he will not be able to return to work. Representatives of the Republican Party of Armenia and people from NSS chief’s close circle confirmed the news, but said that they have no further information.
