Zhamanak: NSS chief ‘safe and sound’

Recent media reports said that the health of Director of Armenia’s National Security Service (NSS) Gorik Hakobyan deteriorated sharply and he was flown to Germany for treatment. 

NSS Deputy Director Romik Harutyunyan, however, denied the reports in an interview with Zhamanak newspaper. “Mr Hakobyan is safe and sound, and I wish the same to you,” he said.
