Haykakan Zhamanak: Tensions rise in Ararat ahead of mayoral elections

The city of Ararat will hold snap mayoral elections tomorrow. The main struggle will be between candidates from the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) and the Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP). According to Haykakan Zhamanak daily, a large number of special police arrived in Ararat yesterday. Ararat residents say artificial tension was created in the city.
