Armenian men’s team beats Slovenia in European Team Chess Championship Round 5

The Armenian men’s chess team beat Slovenia 3-1 in the 5th round of the European Team Chess Championship in Warsaw. Levon Aronian and Vladimir Akopian beat Dusko Pavasovic and Jure Skoberne respectively. Sergei Movsesian- Luka Lenic and Gabriel Sargissian- Jure Borisek matches ended in a draw. 

The Armenian women’s team drew with Georgia in the 5th round. Elina Danielian beat Nana Dzagnidze, Maria Kursova lost to Bela Khotenashvili and Lilit Mkrtchian-Meri Arabidze, Lilit Galojan-Nino Khurtsidze matches ended in a draw.
