Zhoghovurd: Culture Ministry spent considerable sum on furniture

Armenian Culture Ministry spent more than AMD 2.9 million from state budget funds on purchase of furniture, Zhoghovurd daily says.

The newspaper says that the Ministry paid AMD 600,000 for a composite bookcase, AMD 840,000 for carpet strips for corridors, AMD 485,000 for shutters and AMD 970,000 for office furniture, including chairs and armchairs.

It bought each chair for AMD 14,000 and each armchair for AMD 58,000 or 59,000, the newspaper adds.
